Auto Insurance Carriers To Issue 15% Covid-19 Credit
Several companies have announced their plan to issue a 15% credit back to their insureds. The credit will apply to April and May. Some will mail checks while others a reduction in your total annual premium and adjust monthly payments accordingly. For example, if you pay on average $100 per month you should expect a credit of $30 total.
Below is a list of carriers we know offering some form of credit or additional coverage.
15% Credit
Safety, Travelers, Main Street America (National Grange), Hanover, Safeco and Mapfre.
Plymouth Rock / Bunkerhill
30% Credit on Liability and Personal Injury Protection. Will waive the deductible for comprehensive or collision if healthcare worker gets in an accident to or from work. Automatically include cost to relocate under Additional Living Expense (Home Insurance) to any health care worker required by illness or job requirements caused by COVID-19 to temporarily reside somewhere other than their primary residence when payment for these expenses is not provided by the health worker’s employer or another source. 60 day grace period for late payments.
